Terry Haass, (Czech, 1923-2016), "These are the generations of the heavens and of earth", Etching and Aquatint, ca. 1960's-70's, Ed. of 25, 10-7/8 x 13-1/2, full sheet 22-1/4 x 27-13/16,signed, titled and numbered in pencil, on cream Arches wove wove paper, lightly toned recto within mat opening, small abrasion with surface loss one inch outside lower left corner of plate, concealed by mat. A large and impressive abstract composition in a small edition by this fascinating and prolific printmaker and sculptor who's prints combine great technical  fluency with a gestural spontanaety. Haass worked with William Stanley Hayter at Atelier 17 and enjoyed a long and distinguished career.
