Founded in 1984 by artist and master printer James Stroud, Center Street Studio is a professional printmaking workshop that publishes contemporary prints by established and emerging artists. Stroud first studied printmaking with legendary artist Stanley William Hayter at Atelier 17 in Paris and went on to receive his MFA from the Yale School of Art. Over the years he has collaborated on hundreds of projects with established and emerging artists. Prints from Center Street Studio can be found in major museums, corporate and private collections around the country and abroad. This year marks the studio's 35th year of publishing prints.
