A superb impression, in warm black ink printed over a pale gray, on cream wove paper, with full margins (1 1/8 to 1 7/8 inches), in excellent condition. The use of 2 colors, warm gray and black, in this work produces especially deep blacks and a wide range of subtle grays.
The image is of patients in the orthopedic section of St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children—an important work of social conscience.
