Etchings, 1918, edition unknown. 5 7/8 x 7 7/8 in. Both are signed and dated in the plate, lower right. Both are signed in pencil and the heavily inked one is also dated. These are fine impressions in generally fine condition. The margins are wide. Oosting studied at the School of Applied Arts in Haarlem, the Academy of Art in the Hague and the Académie de la Grande Chaumière in Paris. She won a bronze medal at the Paris World Exhibition in 1937. Oosting was a versatile and independent artist who was involved with the Société des Femmes Artistes Modernes established in Paris in 1931.
