"Fabrique 2" is a subtly beautiful and mysterious multiple plate etched monoprint, using random printing techniques to achieve an intricate yet delicate whole. Printed in shades of blues, yellow ochre and pink on 100% cotton rag paper, signed in pencil lower right corner. The image size is 16" x 16". An alumnus of the University of Tennessee, Creighton Michael received his M.A. in art history from Vanderbilt University and a M.F.A. in painting and multimedia from Washington University in St. Louis. He is a recipient of a Pollack Krasner Foundation grant, a New York Foundation for the Arts fellowship in sculpture and a Golden Foundation for the Arts award in painting.
