This could
be by James A. McConnell (Pennsylvania, 1921-2010), but nothing is less
certain. This is clearly an accomplished print by an artist mostly known to be
a watercolorist. It could be by someone different altogether. This large print
stands on its own merits, whoever it was who created it. Beyond being a
beautiful composition, it is also technically very intricate. Any insight into
who may have been its author would be welcome.
