Rosalyn Richards has been a member of the Bucknell University art faculty since 1982. She has had solo shows throughout the United States, and her work is represented in many museum collections.
Artist Statement
Images from particle physics, satellite photography, biotechnology, radiology, geological survey maps, have all served as influences on my work. My paintings, prints, and drawings relate to our human need to construct our experiences in nature using involved systems of design and technology. We are unable to separate our more direct experiences of the natural world from what we know of nature through technological advancements in image making.
