Camels and their handlers rest outside of a walled city as people and livestock line up to enter through a gate. Perhaps it is dawn. According to Abe, the location is in the outskirts of Lahore in present-day Pakistan. These scenes that are prior to the 1947 Partition are always of interest.
Condition: Excellent impression, color and condition. Never framed. One tiny spot where paper is rubbed very thin in sky.
