Original lithograph, FIRST STATE, on Chine volant paper BEFORE image was reduced at the left edge. An unsigned impression form the Edition of 100 proofs of which 85 were signed in pencil. Signed in plate in the upper. right. Good fresh impression. Image size 12 1/16 x 9 3/4 inches. Full sheet 11 x 14 1/2 inches with deckle edge on 2 sides. Tear at upper sheet edge, small loss in upper right sheet corner. Archival hinges at top edge verso. A second edition of this work was produced in the reduced format in 1925 as part of the portfolio “Les peintres lithographes de Manet a Matisse” edited by Frapier in an edition of approximately 575 unsigned impressions.
