Livio CESCHIN
Over the years Ceschin collaborated with poets and other writers, illustrating books and juxtaposing his images with text. He is however mostly dedicated to creating elaborate and detailed landscape intaglio prints, some of which are as large as 40 inches across. The uneven edges of his plates enhance this effect. Livio Ceschin’s work has been widely exhibited in Europe, including with solo exhibitions at the Rembrandt House in 2014 and at the National Institute for Graphics in Rome the year prior. His work can be found in the collections of many of the most important prints departments in Italy, France and beyond. His work is yet to be discovered by a wider public in the United States.
