Bozon's prints are often a balance between abstraction and landscape, which he creates with drypoint and aquatint. They reflect the colors and textures of Spain and Morrocco, the two countries where he has spent most of his adult life.
Christian Bozon was born in Lons-le-Saunier, France in 1969. He was trained at the Art School of Besancon and then began his career as a printmaker. In 1993 he fulfilled a long-held dream by organizing an engraving studio at the French Cultural Centre in Tetouan, Moroccoin. He finally settled in Malaga, Spain, and his art expresses the warmth and colors of both Andalusia and Africa. He has decided against etching as a technique.
