This large scale print is the artist's first ambitious attempt at the medium of woodcut. The image is based on a gouache study of the same subject for an oil painting. Printed in an edition of 25 on Niyodo Kozo paper, the image measures 54 x 40 inches, the sheet 60 x 43 inches.
