Hilliard Reynolds Dean (b.1933) is a painter and printmaker of figurative and abstract works active in the Washington DC area. Dean’s graphic works are in the collection of the Smithsonian American Art Museum. His work is referenced in Afro-American Artists, A Bibliographical Directory, edited by Theresa Dickason Cederholm, Boston Public Library, 1973; and in Free Within Ourselves: African-American Artists in the Collection of the National Museum of American Art, Regenia A.
