In this new work by Connie Saddlemire, she has created several solar plates with manipulated imagery of corten steel, printed in various colors and orientations on black paper. These impressions are then cut by hand and assembled and glued onto archival mat board. The effect is a delicate, striking image which is both has a calming yet entrancing effect on the viewer.
