Hadzi, Dimitri (American, 1921-2006). SCULPTURE STUDY. Woodcut, 1976. Edition of 75, titled, signed, dated, and numbered 57/75, all in pencil. 4 3/4 x 18 1/2 inches (image). Provenance: Barney and Mim Berliner, Brookline, Massachusetts. In excellent condition. Hadzi was a sculptor whose work might best be described as abstract expressionist. He taught studio arts at Harvard. from 1975 to 1989. His large sculpture "Thermopylae" is the focal artwork outside the Kennedy Federal Office Building in Boston.
