A suite of eight intimate studies, done in soft-ground, dry point, hard-ground, and solar plates, with chine colle, housed in a hand-built portfolio box with three text pages. A signature series by Mia Westerlund Roosen, a well-known sculptor, who exhibits in New York with Betty Cuninghman Gallery. Ms. Roosen is drawing our attention to the barriers, fences, and barbed wire that encompass the prisoners at the infamous Guantanamo base, hoping to raise our awareness of the dire situation.
