Orozco’s comments “The whole world is shaken and bloodied by racial hate” (Orozco, An Autobiography p.99)  A chromatic illusion of fire - “It had been made shortly after Orozco completed the Dartmouth murals, in response to a request from the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People as a contribution to the Association’s anti-lynching Campaign (Reed, Orozco (English Edition) pp 275-27)
