Color Woodcut in the single block Provincetown method. Signed and titled and with an annotation “Wood Block Print “Star Phlox” 280 no. from all blocks, 1 no. from this block - Blanche Lazzell,Provincetown, Mass. September 20, 1930” Several other similar annotations. Block 14 x 12 inches.
Full margins with deckle edges. On a tan paper with age tone darkening of full sheet. Printers crease in the left margin to the borderline. An impression on back cover of the Barbara Shapiro’s Lazzell catalog "Blanche Lazzell and the Color Woodcut" Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, 2002.
