Born and raised in Australia, Jo Webster started her career as a medical illustrator and scientific writer. After having lived all over the world, she settled in Colorado and raised two children. As she was recently battling a serious illness, she found a new voice in these lovely delicate photo-etched portraits of flower buds, each ready to burst forth from their seeds. The drawings which were used to make the plates were created using a process called dry painting, with powdered carbon dust, brushes, and tiny erasers. There are 6 prints all together and they are available as a set or individually.
