initials in pencil lower left corner verso, a fine delicate impression
in a warm brown black ink, from the collection of Anna Weir Ely Smith,
exhibited at the Ridgefield Public Library Oct. 1991 in Quiet
Observations: Etchings & Drypoints of J.Alden Weir in the Collection
of Anna Weir Ely Smith. A tender, intimate portrait of Weir's first
wife Anna Dwight Baker, in a rare lifetime impression, printed by the
artist and descended in his family.
