(2) Kopruluzade Numan Pasha, Ottoman statesman who was the grand vizier of the Ottoman Empire between June and August 1710;
(3) Imam Culi Beig, general of the Persian Army in the 17th century;
(4) Orchan [or Orhan] Gazi, second bey of the nascent Ottoman sultanate from 1323/4 to 1362;
(5) Kopruluzade Fazil Ahmed Pasha, a member of the renowned Koprulu family originating from Albania, which produced six grand viziers of the Ottoman Empire;
(6) Moulay Hassan [or Abu Abd Allah Muhammad V al-Hasan], the Hafsid Sultan of Tunis from 1526 to 1543;
(7) Ibrahim of the Ottoman Empire, sultan of the Ottoman Empire from 1640 to 1648;
(8) Bajazet I [or Bayezid], Sultan of Turkey, the Ottoman sultan from 1389 to 1402;
(9) Abdi Pasha the Albanian, an Ottoman politician and military leader of Albanian descent, who served as the last governor of the province of Budin.
