Lithograph printed in colors, 1896, edition probably 100. 16 5/8 x 12 in. Signed and dated on the stone, lower right. Signed and numbered in pencil "No.76". This is a fine, luminous impression of this uncommon print. The margins are full and the condition is fine. De Latenay studied at the Académie Julian in Paris and he was a printmaker as well as a painter. He developed his own style of art nouveau which shows a bit of Japanese influence and the subject matter of the Nabis. This is generally considered his finest print.
