The pink version of Raul Caracoza’s fantastic set of serigraphs entitled Young Frida was used as the cover illustration for the McNay Art Museum exhibition: Estampas de la Raza. I was also exhibited in the "Printing the Revolution", a large exibition at the Smithsonian American Art Museum. The show chronicled the Rise and imact of Chicano Graphics in the United States.

Raul has worked with master printer José Alpuche at Self Help Graphics & Art in Los Angeles, as well as with Richard Duardo at Modern Multiples. The late Rafael Mora helped get him connected with Self Help Graphics. Much of his inspiration is drawn from the Latino culture of his surroundings in LA. His recent works focus on Latino and musical icons generated from computer illustrations.

Besides his graphic designs, he is also an accomplished photographer who has photographed some of the biggest concerts in Los Angeles.
